Why we love it
What stays with you here is the sense of gentle rural life just outside the door: horses in the fields, sheep grazing nearby and long views from the hot tub across open countryside. Hazel Tree Lodge feels private and settled, with the easy quiet of a place that lets you properly exhale, while still keeping the Peak District within easy reach.

About the Property
Hazel Tree Lodge sits on a smallholding at the edge of the Peak District, offering a stay that feels both tucked away and well placed for exploring. Interiors are thoughtful and unfussy, with a spacious, open-plan feel that encourages slow mornings, easy evenings and time spent simply being here. The real draw, though, is outside: a private patio looking onto fields, with horses and sheep bringing a gentle rhythm to the day and a hot tub that makes the most of the view. Walks begin from the doorstep along the Five Pits Trail, and after time out in Derbyshire, returning here feels wonderfully restorative.
