Why we love it
What stays with you here is the sense of outlook. Trengayor Farm sits in that lovely meeting point between coast and countryside, with broad views that pull in the Atlantic, distant Lundy and the folds of North Cornwall. It gives the house a rare calm: you are never far from the drama of the sea, yet everything about the setting feels spacious, private and deeply restful.

About the Property
Trengayor Farm is the kind of place that encourages you to slow to the rhythm of the landscape. Set a few miles inland from Widemouth Bay, it pairs the softness of the countryside with a constant visual connection to the coast. Inside, the atmosphere is unfussy and comfortable, with the views doing much of the work; they appear unexpectedly from room to room, and even the bath looks out towards the sea. Outside, a large private garden opens the house further to the elements, making it easy to spend long mornings over coffee or late evenings watching the light change across the fields. It suits guests who want North Cornwall without the bustle.
Location
Dizzard, near Bude
This corner of North Cornwall feels wilder and quieter than many of the county’s better-known stretches. Around Dizzard, narrow lanes wind through farmland towards cliffs, hidden coves and long views over the Atlantic, while nearby Widemouth Bay brings broad sands and open sea. Bude is close enough for easy meals out and a change of pace, but the appeal here is the contrast between coast and country: cliff walks, sea air and dramatic horizons balanced by a gentler, more rural sense of seclusion.
